  I have the 6400M and I really enjoy the SmartControl Mode. Lets me control the rig via smartSDR and the Maestro front end. Best of both worlds.

  You can not control the radio in this configuration and can not set up a mouse via the flex USB in the back of radio. The hdmi out to a monitor only provides a larger display to look at.
